There are many great fishing and boating spots in and around Glendhu Bay. Bring your boat and enjoy a day of water skiing, explore the many beautiful bays or journey round to the Matukituki River for some exciting jet boating. You can also kayak or paddleboard directly from the lake.
The Wanaka region has the largest number of rock-climbing routes in New Zealand – with nearly 1000! Our holiday parks is right on the doorstep to many excellent rock-climbing areas, including Hospital Flat, Riverside and Diamond Lake.
Treble Cone is located less then 15 minutes from the park and is the largest ski area on the South Island. It boasts long runs and legendary off-piste terrain surrounded by incredible views. Also nearby is Cardrona Ski Field which offers something for everyone with lessons, kid’s club and gondola rides.
Roys Peak Hike is just 5 minutes from the park. The walk takes about 5 hours and if you persevere with the steep incline you'll be reward with magnificent views at the top. The Diamond Lake Track is a short and mostly flat walk with spectacular views.
The Wanaka region offers both beginners and experts a network of 750km of mountain biking tracks. Enjoy the great outdoors and stunning New Zealand scenery on a mountain bike trail or cycling track around Wanaka.
Get an adrenaline rush skydiving over Wanaka and the stunning Southern Alps or head to Wildwire and climb the world’s highest waterfall cable climb. There's no shortage of thrills around here!

No problems! We understand that sometimes things don’t always go to plan. If you’ll be arriving after-hours, please contact reception beforehand so that they can make arrangements for you.
We are dog friendly after Waitangi Weekend in February until the week before Christmas. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and owners must clean up all droppings. Dogs are not permitted in any camp buildings. No pets of any kind are allowed in the camp during the peak period of 20th December to after Waitangi weekend in February. This applies to both campers and visitors and includes the beach. NO exception to this rule, regardless of the size or breed of dog or type of pet.

Yes, we have a laundry room with tap and go washing machine and dryers.
In the kitchen you’ll find ovens, hotplates, fridges, freezers, toasters & instant hotwater.
Utility boxes with cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, pot & frying pan, kettle, chopping board, and tea towels can be hired for $10 for the length of the stay for cabin guests.
The Lodge and House both have fully equipped kitchens.
Linen is included in all accommodation excluding towels. Towels can be hired for $5 each for the length of your stay.
